Set designer Assistant and responsible for the production of set and props.
SYNOPSIS
The Audition by Rodolf Sirera
Translated by John London
Drama should not be fiction, art or technique…drama should be feeling, emotion…and above all, the joy of transgressing established forms.
How far can we go to seek truth in acting? The play explores the boundaries of truth on the stage. An actor expects to meet a big admirer, a Marquis, when he is swirled into a psychological game and an acting master class that will turn him into a lethal experiment.
Max Prize for Best Author 2007, Rudolf Sirera is a multiple award-winning writer. The Audition is a masterpiece performed countless times since its creation.
Against Democracy by Esteve Soler
Translated by Mike Buck
Democracy is as profitable as McDonalds.
Is there anyone that still believes that as citizens we have any power upon our society? Inspired by the French theatrical genre of Grand Guignol, the 7 sketches set the spectator on the verge of horror and humour in astonishing surrealistic scenes. This collection of the burlesque unmasks the paradoxes generated by the times we are living in.
Premiering in the UK, and first performed in Barcelona in 2011, it is part of a trilogy that is already available in ten languages and has successfully performed around Europe, recently winning the Serra d’Or Prize 2012.
